I like to call myself a Jake of all trades (yes, I went there). I've been fascinated by technology—namely enterprise technology (and no, I'm not just saying that)—for as long as I can remember. Whether I'm implementing and documenting a new system in my home lab, teaching myself a new platform, taking on a project at work, or walking someone through a new process, I bring curiosity, empathy, passion, and just the right amount of dry wit to the table. Ultimately, when I'm in front of a computer, I know I'm in the right place—even when I want to smash my head on the keyboard after hours of troubleshooting.
I've been building, fixing, and explaining tech since I was tall enough to reach a keyboard. Over the years, that turned into a career rooted in clarity, collaboration, and a strong desire to make things better—for users, teams, and systems alike. I believe communication is just as critical as configuration, and that the best outcomes come from fostering meaningful relationships and working with people, not just for them.
My professional background spans IT support, infrastructure, project coordination, and technical writing, and my personal experience is even broader—but more importantly, I know how to connect the dots, ask the right questions, and follow through. I thrive in asynchronous environments, remote teams, and anywhere thoughtful problem-solving is valued.
When I'm away from the keyboard, I'm a cat parent (four strong), a nature lover, and an avid crafter. I try to appreciate and acknowledge the good in the world—and aim to contribute to that goodness by advocating for others and creating welcoming, inclusive spaces for anyone who comes my way.
